This premium steel offers better edge retention and is harder than many other steels such as D2 and 14c. The blade undergoes a black stone wash process (silver blades use a wire drawing process) which makes it anti-scratch. The finish and grind are clean and even, giving the blade a beefy and powerful appearance.
